Defender Trophy will challenge the chosen few to explore their physical, emotional, and mental limits. Facing harsh outdoor environments, teams must conquer a series of driving, engineering, navigational and physical challenges.

For 70 years, Defender has explored the Earth’s extremes. Now our legacy has inspired a new generation of epic adventure, combining the thrill of the unknown with a spirit of togetherness.

THE JOURNEY

The competition begins with a local application and selection process, followed by intense qualification events, culminating in the Global Final in October 2026. The location for the final will be revealed in August 2026.

NATIONAL QUALIFIERS

An exhilarating mix of physical, driving, and cognitive challenges to uncover the nation's champions to represent their country at the Defender Trophy Global Final.

THREE EPIC STAGES

Conquer a series of driving, engineering, navigational and physical challenges across some of the world’s most challenging terrains.

THE CHANCE TO MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE

At the Global Final, competitors will work with TUSK, unleashing their skills to drive impactful conservation efforts.

How to apply?

1. Online Application

Sign up for the application process below and we will send you a link to an online questionnaire. To apply, you will need to meet the minimum mandatory Eligibility Criteria.

A local representative will get in touch to let you know if your application was successful.

2. National Qualifiers

If your application was successful, you will be invited to the relevant event(s) in your country.

3. Regional Qualifiers

If you are selected in the national qualifiers, you will advance to the regional qualifier.

4. Global Final

If you win in the regional qualifier, you will be invited to attend the Global Final.
